As proud residents of New Braunfels, Texas, James and Monique are thrilled to announce the opening of their first Residential Assisted Living Home, where they will leverage their extensive expertise to serve the local senior community. Joined by their dedicated team, they are committed to providing the high standard of care that seniors deserve.

James brings a wealth of experience to the healthcare field. Driven by a passion to serve others in a more impactful way, he transitioned into healthcare as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-A) after spending 20 years in the automotive industry. Throughout his career as an EMT-A, James has been devoted to assisting individuals in times of crisis. His experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly witnessing the severe health challenges faced by elderly patients, reinforced his understanding of the critical need for compassionate and high-quality support for our aging population.

With a lifelong dedication to healthcare, Monique embarked on her journey at the young age of 18 as a Certified Nurse Aide. She subsequently advanced through various roles, including Medication Aide, Licensed  Vocational Nurse, and Registered Nurse, earning both an associate’s and a bachelor’s degree. Committed to continuous professional development, Monique further pursued her education by obtaining a master's degree  from Texas Tech University, becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her early career in nursing homes exposed her to the challenges posed by high staff-to-resident ratios. However, her experiences in home health and hospice illuminated the transformative impact of personal care homes, inspiring her vision to create a facility that prioritizes the well-being, dignity, and happiness of its residents.

Together,  James and Monique form a dynamic healthcare team, combining emergency medical expertise with advanced psychiatric care. Their comprehensive approach to healthcare ensures that the needs of those they serve are met holistically, with an emphasis on compassion and quality.

As devoted parents to four children, James and Monique understand the importance of family and community. Their life experiences have inspired them to take action, and they are now dedicated to establishing a personal care home community that offers seniors the attention, dignity, and care they deserve. Their mission is to create a safe, nurturing, and personalized environment where residents can thrive, knowing they are truly valued—because, for James and Monique, your family is their family.
